It’s been another busy week here at Simple Storage and we’re not just referring to Self Storage, Office Space and Bulk Storage activity, although these three core areas of our business are now part of our latest addition – a brand new sign!
The sign maker has been very busy this week making and fitting this sign to the upper fascia of our south facing extension. The Arrow Mill extension was built in 1962 and is of a purely functional design. Over the decades the upper outer fascia has become mottled and unsightly and our new sign is a welcome addition and brightens up the extension.
Planning permission has been granted for this sign to run the whole length of the extension and it can be seen by turning onto Queensway from Manchester Road in Castleton. Keep an eye out for it, not only does it highlight the major areas of our business but advertises our phone number, logo and website too.
We hope that the local population like our latest outstanding feature and that it encourages even more customers to sign up for a cost effective self storage unit, cheap office space or bargain bulk storage!
At last!!! The new chimney signage has been completed (we've been waiting all year for the sign maker believe it or not, otherwise it would have gone up a lot sooner!) We would like to reassure passers by that we have been granted planning permission to display this lettering and the last thing we would ever do is take away the century old 'Arrow' around the other side. This new signage will make us much more visible as our customers head towards us along Queensway. The chimney here at Arrow Mill is an historic landmark and will outlive us all. Just think, back in 1908 when Arrow Mill was in its infancy this chimney would have been belching out smoke, which at the time was a sign of prosperity. Today the chimney is a lot 'greener' and we are proud to be greeted by its reassuring presence each day - long may it stand!
